Among the myriad of spices the world offers, the Saigon Ground Cassia Cinnamon holds a revered place, often hailed as the epitome of true cinnamon flavor. Harvested from the lush landscapes of Vietnam, this cinnamon variety is distinctive in its potency and aroma. We grind the Vietnamese Cinnamon bark in house, and it produces a dark, rich cinnamon with quite a bit of spiciness. We love this cinnamon in sweet baking recipes where cinnamon is the starring flavor - especially cinnamon rolls, French toast, and apple pie.
